Up Yonder but Down Under

We headed up to Montville on the second day, a quaint town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We were spending the night at Spicers Clovelly Estate. Now, before I go further you need to know my family, who lives in Australia, planned my entire two weeks taking in my taste for excellent food, great wine, and accommodations. We stayed in a lovely 3-bedroom cottage surrounded by magnificent grounds. Spicers Clovelly reminded me of a French country-style estate you would find in rural France. Courtyard gardens, gravel pathways, rustic but romantic. We took a hike through the grounds to a deck overlooking Lake Baroon. A stunning spot for a private event or just to take photos.
